DIY Disasters

Oh my days I am having some problems with spray paint! I thought it would be easy, turns out its not! I bought some spray paint off ebay thinking I could do some American type shorts, plain stars and Union jack shorts but there were lots of problems. With the cans, the problem was that the second time I went to use them above, the blue ran out! That's how much I got on the shorts, it's ridiculous! I had used them on the shorts below (and a bit on paper to keep the pressure even) but that is such a stupid small amount for almost £7! Now the shorts are kinda ruined unless I find some fabric paint as dyeing them with dylon wash dye won't really work. I definitely wouldn't recommend the sprays I linked to! I know they're meant for kids but I thought I'd at least get a few goes out of them. I'm too scared to use the red in case that runs out too since I used more of that the first time. And I spent ages cutting out stars and making sure none of the spray would go where I wouldn't because of the disaster below, and it was all for nothing.

As for the pair above, that was my own fault. I used cardboard for the stars which worked perfectly, and for the stripes I just used clear tape. But my table was on a bit of a slant, and the red paint was really runny and so my stripes were aweful, and barely there and such a mess. So I decided to just spray the whole half of it red and maybe try to work it out later (I haven't touched them since though), and the red bled through to the back of the shorts since it ran so much, and that's why the first photo there was cardboard everywhere! Sigh.  They look okay from the front, but the back has a small patch and the sides over the seam. Anyway, I thought I'd share a few of my DIY disasters with DIYing shorts, as I seem to can't get these right!

Every time I think I've nearly caught up on my blog reading, there's a whole new batch of them to read! Does anyone else have that problem?

They call me clumsy...

... for a reason! Okay so just a short little post as I am so behind on everything! I finally caught up on over a weeks worth of blog reading, and I read a LOT of blogs so it took ages and there's loads of new ones today, waaah! I've barely left any comments, which sucks, as I'm trying to comment more. I'm so used to just reading blogs and never commenting unless its congratulations or about a competition and I'd like to comment for other reasons than that, particularly as the last one makes me feel a bit like a user, but I do really love the blogs!

I was going to do a London Instagram post, but my last few posts have all beeN Intsagram collages and I'd like to not do that for every single post, yaknow? And I was going to post a few illustrated outfit pictures I've done, but first I need to find my water colours! I've drawn a few just haven't gotten round to painting them yet, sigh. So here's a quick little post to say I have been busy, and I've been busy injuring myself, yay! I have so many bruises on my thighs from god knows where, I fell off a ride (after it stopped) in Thorpe park getting lots of cuts on my hands and knees, it looked hilarious I bet though, and I somehow managed to  punch the coke machine in work whilst getting something causing my little finger to bleed like crazy (above photo) and someone opened the door into me hurting my other little finger as I was holding my hands weirdly I guess? All in the space of two to three days! Okay so its not much, but enough with the finger injuries already plzkthnxbi!

So yeah that's it for me, and sorry for the lack of updates, commenting and boringness that is my blog, my stats have gone down waaaay much so it really does show, ooops! P.s I'm going to go see Prometheus tonight, finally!

Really am the biggest kltuz

I hurt my hand in work today... I somehow managed to punch my right hand against something whilst I was serving a customer. I'm right handed, I tried not to show pain as I finished serving, and was about to run away when the customers daughter wanted something.... THEN I ran away and cried like a wimp haha! Everyone was like "What have you done now?" and told me I did deserve to win that award the other night lol. It's okayish now, I put ice on it and carried on, but I have a cut in between my my last two fingers, it's a bit swollen and a bruise on my little finger. Gotta keep adding scars to that hand damnit, good thing I never wanted to be a hand model! On a side note, on Halloween, I managed to gain a scar on my arm because of my dress! I don't even remember half the stuff I do accident wise, but maybe I should keep a count or live in a bubble?

Lame post, but I'm behind on doing a post for every day, so I'm cheating and going to post this for a few days ago, and post one for today tomorrow... this would be the fifth one I think, meh I'm working loads and tired! Shush :P
