Winter: Instagrammed
In September (Holy Crow! That's a long time ago!) I said goodbye to my boyfriend as he moved to Portugal! It sucked, but I'm okay now. I received lots of Glossyboxes and She Said Beauty Boxes (second row). I dyed my hair blonde! It was horribly yellow and then I dyed it dark blond, which turned brown, and faded to a nice natural looking blonde, but I desperately need to sort out my roots! My friend had her baby! Mason is soooo tiny and gorgeous and oh my gaaawd I need to snuggle with him right now. Oh and I also did a lot of baking.
In October I bought all of the roller derby kit, which cost quite a lot but it was worth it. I bought those dashes above, and the knee pads and helmet and what not. I'm meant to be going up for min skills at the end of Jan but we've had weeks off 'cause off Christmas so I'm not sure I'll make it this time, but you never know. For Halloween I finally dressed up as Misty from Pokemon. I've wanted to do that for aaages but never did, and I made it more halloweeny with blood of course! It was also the second year of pumpkin carving for me and I did Jack Skellington. I think he looks good but I need more practice! I bought a Pikachu onesie ready for a blanket fort party, and I want to wear it everywhere now.
In November, I went to Paris for my friends hen weekend. We also went to Disneyland and it was awesome, I'll blog about it another time. We also had a hen night for her a week before the wedding which was fun, we had loads of dares which I didn't do and bought shots instead as the alternative! (No way was I flashing my bra! In Public! When I was wearing a dress! :O ) I hassled the hoff and other 80's men in the photo above in Reflex. My friend also had to carry around Simon. He was a naked blow up doll and looked a little bit like Simon Cowell hence the name. I covered up him up for that photo though haha.
Then it was also my friends wedding! It's crazy, they've been together since we were all 15-16, that was 7-8 years ago now! They're also the ones who had Mason, so even though its strange to me to think that she's married with a baby at 22, it also feels like it's about darn time! They had a gorgeous wedding, with a chocolate fountain and pic n' mix! Awesome! I wasn't actually a bridesmaid, but during the grooms speech he thanked the bridesmaids and included me at the end! I think I was originally going to be a bridesmaid if she was having six, but she went for four in the end. Oh wells, I still had fun! But my brother was best man grrr (just joking about the grr).
In December (well end of Nov) I then jetted off to Portugal! I went to Coimbra to visit my boyfriend which I'll also blog about another time. But it was pretty fun going to two different countries in the same month! I attended a Blanket Fort (from Community) party as well in December, where I wore my Pikachu onesie, and had epic nerf fun wars. I was, very competitive lets say and total won! And I did loads of Christmas shopping but couldn't help but buy the Stila eye make up palette above, its beautiful. I debated for weeks whether to get it or not and finally caved.
So end of December my boyfriend came home, which wasn't as long as I liked. We fit in quite a lot while he was here though, seeing his family, friends, going for drinks, seeing films in the cinema, ice skating etc. We also celebrated Christmas and he spolit me rotten again, but I spoilt him too so it's okay! And then for New Years, we went over some work friends house and played beer pong, sung karaoke (or in my case I filmed them!) and had lots of fun!
So that's a brief gist of what I've been up to. Or rather what I instagrammed. I forget to use it for days at a time but oh well. You wouldn't really want me to write up every tiny detail of my life anyways! So I'm hoping I'll get back into the swing of blogging, and I need to do some catching up on other peoples blogs! It's a very daunting task!

Last few weeks of Summer, Instagrammed...
I've received one Glossy Box, and two She Said Beauty boxes, but haven't done a review on them yet, which I meant to do, and took one instagram pic of one Glossy Box haha I suck. I babysat, which also included puppy sitting! Olive, the dog, is kerazy! But cute, look at her with her teddy! We then had a mini radiator flood in our house which made the house stink for days! It was horrible, but okay now, sorta. We're just scared to use the radiators! And I had a Harvester catch up with my uni friends, where we always go and had ice cream Sundaes yum, yum!
I went to my last BBQ of the year I think, a leaving do for my boyfriend with his family. It rained in the morning so they set up tents and a gazebo, and then the sun came out before everyone arrived! During the BBQ I held a giant rabbit, called Cuddles, and said hello to their three chickens! Dorothy, Other Chicken and I can't remember the others name. (They also have one small child, bearded dragon, another rabbit, and the puppy Olive!) In that row of photos, I also bought some No7 Makeup and moisturiser, which I love.
In thanks for babysitting, they got me some owly presents, which was so nice of them! I got owl gloves and an owl scarf which are both awesome! I've worn the scarf a few times, and can't wait for it to be cold enough to wear those adorable gloves! In other awesome news, my DVD of Hunger Games arrived early! I'm obssessed with the books/film, love it! I only got the 12a version, but I've seen the 15 version and it's only a little bit extra of killing so I don't mind. I baked cupcakes in my new silicone molds which were a hit, everyone liked playing with the molds! And I went out with work for a few drinks in a cocktail bar, I had a Starburst, a Grasshopper and a Screaming Orgasm, all of which tasted magical. I need to go to that Cocktail bar more often, it was 2 for 1!
And for the last row, I half organised a baby shower for my friend, I made cupcakes, a terrible cake, paper bunting, and other food but didn't instagram it. Lots of other people brought food or baked cupcakes which was really nice too, and we played baby shower games. I bought some mini trophys from Tesco as prizes, and the games were hilarious. And my friend loved it. I bought a tonne of Winnie the Pooh clothes (that's the nursery theme) and these are two of my favourites. He is going to be the cutest baby evah!! The misty picture is just there to symbolise summer coming to a close, because wtf weather? It looked like something out of Silent Hill, but it's been a lot nicer since. And the last picture is of my new hair after donating the rest of it.

Bristol Zoo Times
Last Saturday me and the boy went to Bristol Zoo! I've always wanted to go to the Zoo and now I finally have! I mean, I have gone when I was younger, and apparently to Bristol Zoo but I don't remember. I only remember bits and pieces from a trip to Longleat and I've been to Folly Farm in Wales but its not a zoo, it's a farm, albeit it has Giraffes though I think! We basically spent all day travelling to and from there and only about three hours in the zoo, and part of it was when we stopped to have lunch.
We just missed our train to Cardiff, and had to wait half an hour for another so I had a Costa hot chocolate, and then when we got to Bristol there was a Gay Pride festival on so all the buses were extremely late, about 40 minutes. Last time we went on a trip to explore Castles, there was a March on in Cardiff and all the buses were late then too! I think we're destined for transport to never go our way haha. When we left the zoo the buses were still late and it started raining, so we were soaked despite umbrellas and coats waiting at the bus stop, and then we just missed the train back to Cardiff so had to wait 20 minutes. Then we we finally got to Cardiff we had to change trains to Swansea and got on the wrong train heading back the way we'd just come! And then! The next train going to Swansea was going all the way to Llanelli first and then we had to change there and head back to Swansea. Oh. Em. Gee! It took us hours and hours and we were about two hours late returning back when we were meant to go to a BBQ. I don't even want to add up how long we spent travelling/or waiting for transport, it'll hurt my head. Anyway enough of the transport rant! Now onto the animals!
It was awesome! We didn't get to see everything we wanted, and skipped some animals since there were too many people around, but we did manage to see the penguins and sea lions getting fed, which was really cool, and funny. The animals all seem to know when it's feeding time, which is the same time every day. I took a cute video of the penguins all forming a line heading down a rock to show my nana who loves penguins. We saw a lot of fighting or stealing of fish during that, poor penguins. Then for the Sea lions or seals (I can't remember the difference oops) we saw them getting fed, and doing tricks. The one above was called Artex I think (Is that from The neverending story?) and he was doing all these neat little tricks, and there was a baby sea lion who kept having a temper tantrum since they were going to feed him last and kept making the funniest of nosies. He also kept close to his mother, keeping his face on her tail, even while she was 'walking', sooo cute!
We saw loads of animals, including a dog on the train. He was gorgeous, and reminds me of my dog from when I was younger, and he was a guide dog. We looked after him while the owner went to the toilet and so many people petted him as he walked past, I really wish I had a dog, I'm not allowed to have any pets, not even a hamster or fish! We saw a baby lemer being washed by his parents above, he was so tiny you can't really see him in any of the pictures I took since they were sheilding him from view. And one of the cutest animals there was a little deer, called a Pudu which was so adorable, I really want one as a pet. And Bristol Zoo even had dinosaurs roaming around! Okay, well not real dinosaurs, and they weren't roaming around but were fun the see. I took so many photos of the animals that my phone actually died even though I'd charged it up in the morning, and missed out on a lot of animals, but I still think I took about 300 photos! Yeeesh I think I have a problem haha.
All in all it was a really fun trip, and you should definitely check it out if you want to go to the Zoo. We also had two for one tickets using our student cards (there's no date on it so we can still use them!) if we showed we travelled by train, but tickets are only about £12 anyways. The next Zoo I want to go to now though is the one in London next time I'm up there. Has anyone been there before?

My life in Instagram
So it's actually been awhile since I did an Instagram diary like post, and this has been over the past few weeks. I went to Mumbles a few times which was nice when the sun popped out for like a day or two, I love going to Verdi's, the ice cream is always so yummy. I had a nice catch up with some uni friends and got a wedding invite off one of them, who I'm also planning a baby shower for!
I tried DIYing some shorts but it didn't work out, so I'll have to try again the next dry, sunny day that we have since I do them outside, and there's some photos of things I've bought/won/will be giving away. I went over my friends the other day and took this photo of her dog Sioni, I love him but sadly he died the next day so it's kinda bittersweet this last photo of him, but wasn't he cute?
I also went Castle exploring with my boyfriend, he's really sweet. He's thought up all of these activities we can do before he leaves for Portugal in September, and wrote them in different cards. Then each time we do an activity, he'll give me another three cards to pick from, like in a TV show! Next on the list should be a trip to Bristol Zoo, but we can only go on Saturdays as he works weekdays, but I tend to work weekends and can't book another one off till three weeks! Insane! We went to Castell Coch and Caerphilly Castell (my spelling may be wrong on the last one) and it was fun. I took loads of pictures and learnt a lot about Lord Bute who restored these castles plus Cardiff Castle.
I also went Paintballing with work on Monday which was so much fun! Despite the fact that it was raining, I got covered in mud, bruised and these random four mean guys played with us. They cheated SO much it drove the rest of us mad as it was meant to be a group booking of just us. Oh well. I had to go to work straight after though for a close and I was SO tired, and only just had enough time to shower and eat food, and I have a weird cut bruise on my arm when I surrendered! I got hit twice, and each time had my hands and gun up and walked to the dead zone, and each time I got shot THREE times! When you're not meant to get shot at, so I was fuming! In the end if I got hit or ran out of paintballs I stayed where I was because it was ridiculous how much the other team cheated! Anyway I'm ranting to much, oops, but it was fun.
And lastly I've been reading that book. It's the latest in the Stravaganza series by Mary Hoffman which I've been reading since I was like 13 and they come out every two years or so I'm happy it's finally come out, and I need something new to read. I haven't read anything since The Hunger Games so my goal of reading more slipped. Speaking of The Hunger Games, I've made all three of my brothers read it, and my friends, and they've made their girlfriends read etc, its fun! My youngest brother's just starting the third book which makes me happy since he never reads anything and the rest of us are bookworms. We're planning a Hunger Games film night when the DVD comes out, which is nice. I never really do anything with all my brothers, and we never really all love the same thing, at most three of us will like something but one won't so it's pretty cool. And if you haven't read them yet, then you should! :P
P.S Sorry for this very random post and I am slowly catching up with blog reading, but every blog I go on has about four posts on average so it's taking awhile.

London times again
I was meant to post this yesterday but things have been busy, as usual. The other day in work I whacked my head really hard against something and I think I had/have concussion! If not I'm pretty dizzy anyway and my sleeping pattern is messed up. I got home from work that night about 4am and woke up the next day at 4:15pm!! I had work by 5 and it takes me half an hour to drive to work, so I was in a rush yesterday and yeah, now my sleeping pattern is messed up as I've just woken up from a nap! Oh well, onto the post now!
I went up to London again recently, this time to visit my friend. When we got there we went for a walk and did some sightseeing as another friend I came up with had only been to London once years ago. It was really nice and warm and light for the time of night and then we had some drinks in the pub before getting a pizza and going home to watch a film, and meeting some of my friends housemates.
The next day we woke up super early (for me!) and went to Thorpe Park with two of my friends housemates. We had to catch two tube trains, a train and a shuttle bus to get there but it was worth it! I've never been to Thorpe Park before so was excited, but I stupidly wore a maxi skirt thinking I'd be okay! I wore it thinking it would dry faster than the jeans I'd brought if we went on any water rides (which I did, except for the big splash one) but then when jumping off one ride at the end my skirt got caught and I fell and bashed my knee and hands. It probably was hilarious to look at judging by how much the girl who worked there was laughing, but she directed me to first aid when I showed her I was bleeding. They were only small cuts but stung and wouldn't stop bleeding and I had a nice chat with the first aider who had a friend in Swansea Uni. The rest of the day was fun though, and we went on loads of rides loads of times since it was actually really quiet considering it was the last day of half term and only rained a little bit. We weren't complaining though since the longest we had to queue was half an hour, and on average about ten minutes.
We'd been there from about 11:30 to closing time at 6 so were exhausted travelling back. One guy actually fell asleep on the tube on the way home but the boys both went straight to the pub while we girls went home to shower thanks to the rain and water rides! We ordered pizza again! And waited for another friend who was coming down from Aberdeen for the Summer Holidays then we went to the pub too. I tried a strawberry beer for the first time which was amazing, and I don't like beer so it was a nice change. Needless to stay when we got in we all fell asleep straight away ready to catch the train back home the next morning.
I'm usually running late or miss trains when I'm coming home, and we thought we would miss the train (something wrong with the tube again!) but we actually made it with ten minutes to spare, which never happens! Note to self, leave extra time in case of delays! We got back home a couple of hours later where I promptly fell asleep again. It was a really fun trip and I sort of wish I'd had the chance to shop but my bank account is glad I didn't, and we had a fun day in Thrope Parl anyway with 2 for 1 vouchers and hopefully next time I go to London, I might go see all the Harry Potter sets everyone's talking about!

A week of Parties!
Like I said in my last post I've been busy working, or partying! Well going to events at least. I didn't take pictures of everything so didn't have a wide selection to pick from oh well. It was my brothers 21st birthday so I made lemon cupcakes for him, and also my boyfriends 26th birthday. He wanted a Victoria Sponge and that's it in the top picture... only... I dropped it and forgot to bring the cute candles I got :( It still tasted yummy though, it just looked silly! I was working on his birthday event and then went to a BBQ but it was dark, and for his actual birthday we went to the Uni Society events do. The second picture is of the empty sweet jar filled with stars lol, and the third is my outfit. We all wore blue and white to match the drama's colours, and they won a few things, so yay! It was loads of fun. My dress was from New Look and I got £8 off thanks to a tiny little mark that came off easily, woot! The night after that a lot of the societys held a Night of Musicals, which was awesome including drama, choral, glee, dance etc and I made a new friend, he was sititng by himself bless him. I'd be too scared to go to something by myself, I mean I do but I know loads of drama people will be there and try to sit next to them, but he was lovely.
Second row, yeah... a weird picture but that's me trying these curler things. They do work, but didn't work for the night I needed them as my hair didn't dry fast enough. I'm trying to make my hair prettier but also treat it better so tried these out from New Look. I think my hairs a little bit too long for them though. The middle picture is of my pink lush bath! Finally getting round to using all these bath products :) I including those two pics to fit in with the party theme as they are 'getting ready' pictures. Third picture in that row is of Taybarns. It was my first ever visit and was okay, think I prefer Cosmo but it is much cheaper. It was birthday/new job dinner for my boyfriend since he likes Taybarns. Driving there was a nightmare though, I may or may not have got lost.... anyway! Moving on!
For the third row there's me sporting my Jubilee look, but not really, I worked it! :( I wore this bow when I came home though, can't wear it in work since I wear hats. Then it was the Drama awards night and I got to sit on the committee table even though I'm not even a member! It was very fancy and loads of fun. It's quite sad too though since I won't be seeing a lot of people again since they're leaving Swansea after finishing uni :( I wore a dress from Debenhams which I got for £5! It used to be £85 but it was in the 70% off pile and it was buy one get one free, and I didn't get a free one, yes I'm stupid! So that was my week in Instagram pictures and just add in a few closes in work, and it sums up my week. Now I'm off to pack since I'm going to London in a few hours and I have done nothing! Ooops! I am tempted to take my laptop on the train to catch up on blog reading and plan a baby shower but then I don't want to lug it around London, hmmm, why can't my laptop be tiny eh?

Instagrammed
Here's another 'Week in Instagram' type posts, but it's a bit longer than a week so I just titled it 'Instagrammed' today. I was going to do a 31 day challenge catch up but I'll do that tomorrow as its half one now (but I'll change the time manually tomorrow so this is still Sunday) and I should be sleeping.
Top L-R: Glittery Nails, A view of Mumbles, Eddies Rocket for a catch up and malt shakes, Watching my boyfriend in 'Scary Play'
Roller Skating on the Promenade, Brooches from a Vintage Fair, I did a 'What's in my bag?' post, Finally read Magic Knight Rayearth (yes, I'm an anime/manga geek ^_^)
May's Glossy Box <3, Purple Dye and water, I'm in a Hammock!, A cute puppy who was still for once and not biting!
I saw an Olympic Torch bearer when I left work early, I watched Eurovision - they were last years winners, Had a BBQ, and spent some time in a giant paddling pool.
So that was roughly my week in pictures, but add in some work and sunburn, fun! Oh I also spent a lot of time in my garden but forgot to add those pictures too. I finally went roller skating which was so much fun, but it was a boiling day and I went to my first Vintage Clothes Fair. I also did a 'What's in my Bag?' post.
I've spent the weekend down my boyfriends family's, they have a huge garden, paddling pool, hammock, BBQ, rabbits, a puppy and a cute two year old, it was a blast!
I had the shortest shift ever in work on Saturday since I felt ill, and as I left I saw an Olympic torch bearer waiting to have her torch lighted. It was funny, everyone kept giving her their kids to take photos with and she said "If I had know it'd be like this, I would have done my hair!" bless, but she was very nice and smiley, I just didn't get a good shot! I didn't stick around to watch it though as I was dying and just wanted to curl up somewhere. I then watched the Eurovision, poor Hump, he deserved better! I liked Sweden, who won, but also liked Germany who came somewhere in the middle, and also Denmark who did just a little bit better than us, so near the end, and was kinda shocked, what's going on? They both should have done better. I think next year I want to go or host a Eurovision party, it'll be fun! Who did you like in the Eurovision? And I hope you all had lovely weekends :)

Mini week in Instagram
Okay so I have no idea how to do the bigger grid mosaic things, help? The only ones I can find are the 9 image ones, oh well, at least I have Instagram now :D Btw these photos aren't in order.
1 - My Easter Haul, nom, nom chocolate!
2 - I bruised my thumb on my steering wheel of all things, the drive home was fun! And now my thumb is mostly useless.
3 - Ben & Jerry's Milkshake, mmm. I went to see Wrath of the Titans and Pirates in an Adventure with Scientists. (Not on the same day but I have once watched 5 films in a row! Never again!)
4 - Well my car's bumper only went and FELL OFF! Why does my car hate me? *sob* Well it was my fault but it shouldn't have fallen off, yaknow?
5 - A mini outfit post, pink, polka dot and the golden snitch.
6 - Me trying on a heart dress from H&M which I bought along with a few other things.
7 - I went to Pets at Home just like to look at all the cute animals and wish I had one.
8 - My Mockingjay pin! I've worn it a few times and its one of my first Instagram pictures and my favourite.
9 - Another mini outfit post, with a bird print dress from H&M and purple tights. I also wore it with my Mockingjay pin and my hair in a braid so I was channeling Katnis from The Hunger Games a bit, with the birds, the pin and the hair. But not really the tights or dress lol.
So that's a little mini week in Instagram and I need to work on it and maybe take more photos to have a better collage really. Overall my week sucked, my car keeps breaking on me, and my bumper is now gaffataped up! It is actually falling to pieces. I keep injuring myself and have random bruises everywhere. Also we had a powercut in work on one of our busiest nights, at the busiest time and it lasted for ages. I work in a cinema so that was fun! *eye twitch* Actually it was okay, since I work with nice people, but I don't like dealing with mad customers as I am a delicate flower, or rather a wimp! Anyways hope everyone else has had a better week than me! Oddly enough, I had better luck today on Friday the 13th than I've had all week!

I love getting things in the post!
This arrived yesterday. Yes I am a geek and I bought a Mockingjay Pin on ebay. Yes I love it! I've read the books twice and seen the film twice after putting off reading it for almost a year, so you could say I'm a bit obsessed.
I also ordered some washi tape because I have been lusting at them forever, and found a website with affordable prices and I picked the turquoise pack, and the custard, peach and stripes separately. I know they can be a bit pricey for some tape, but they are sooo pretty and I want to do so many things with them, but I'm a bit scared too at the moment. However I picked these colours with my friends baby shower in mind, maybe, she doesn't know if she's having a boy or a girl yet so these can work for either!
And in case you haven't noticed, the above pictures were taken with Instagram using the Hefe filter! I am so happy that we android users can now use Instagram! Eeeek! I'm on there under lisamello, like usual and I don't know how, but does anyone know how to do those 'week in instagram' mosaics? I only have 5 photos at the moment but I'll be taking loads in the future.
